Hues of Blues

Happy Sunday, friends! Sorry I've been totally MIA this week on the blog, I've still been getting over this bug, and have been miserable. I'm finally to the point where I can eat normal food and not feel nauseous so that's a good sign, right? I was excited to finally get outside and take some blog pics.

Over the last few months, I've been really hesitant about buying Peplum styled tops. I would keep trying them on, and absolutely hating them on me. But last weekend, I was at Kohl's (of course) looking through the clearance and found this bright blue Peplum top. It was on sale for $2, (Yes, $2!!) AND I had a coupon for an additional 30% off, so basically I scored this top for only $1.40. How do I even find good deals like this?! I don't even know, but if bargain shopping was a profession, I would be rollin' in the dough with how good I am. Seriously.

When I tried it on, I wasn't sure if I liked it that much. Plus, I had just rolled out of bed, with messy hair, and tried the top on with sweat pants. Even my husband was a little hesitant about it, which is saying a lot because all he ever says is, "Yeah babe, I really like that" to everything I try on. But, since I'm a sucker for a good deal, I gave the top the benefit of the doubt and bought it anyway, and now I'm so glad I did. It's honestly adorable. I decided to pair it with my navy-colored polka dot skinnies, but I kept thinking of tons of other things it would look cute with.
