NOTHIN' BETTER THAN SWEATER WEATHER

10.18.2013

SWEATER: TJ MAXX // PANTS: ROCK REPUBLIC VIA KOHL'S // BOOTS: THRIFTED // SCARF: OH MY CHIC // SUNGLASSES: ZOO SHOO //

This is another look from my birthday! We went to breakfast with my sister and this was my attire. This is honestly my go-to comfortable fall outfit. Throw on some pants, a sweater, a fun scarf, some boots... and you're good to go! TJ Maxx has A TON of cute sweaters right now, so if you're looking for the perfect one, look no further. Sweater weather can stay all year long.

Can I just take a second to vent to you guys?? It is one of my biggest pet peeves when people assume I speak Spanish. I know I have tan skin, but really?! I look pretty Asian. (I'm Filipino by the way, for those of you who were probably wondering.) Sometimes I wonder what's going on in their head. Oh hey! Another brown person, she must speak Spanish! Maybe it's just a Utah thing, but it happens way more often than it should. Anyway, end rant. Happy Friday everyone!

Oh! And P.S. Have you noticed the new "SHOP" tab at the top of my blog? Below you'll see what it looks like. You can now shop my Etsy shop right from my blog, so easy and fun! You can get the scarf I'm wearing! Fun stuff is added pretty much weekly, so be sure to be checking back! Hope you guys have a fun, safe weekend!

  3. I love this scarf!! So cute. And I want that sweater. And those socks. And your hair is gorgeous!! That's odd that people assume you speak Spanish... I don't think you look Spanish at all! At least you can say you're Filipino if people ask, my sister gets asked all the time what her ethnicity is because she tans WAY too much... and she's just plain Caucasian. Haha.

  9. The double zippers on your sweater are awesome!! And I'm loving all the new items that you've added to your shop. They're all so cute! It's so strange that ppl assume that you speak spanish. I haven't once thought you were hispanic and honestly the thought of your skin color or ethnicity hadn't even crossed my mind. My bff has american indian in her blood and is dark skinned. People used to assume she spoke spanish too and it drove us nuts. So strange.
