So last night my husband and I went on a bike ride (that unfortunately left him walking home with a flat tire) and the weather was just amazing. Feels like summer around here! So happy! But anyway, I wore this amazing Free People top to work yesterday, and then just changed into some shorts and sandals for our little stroll. Free people tops just kiiiinda make me swoon a thousand times over, and this one is even better because it was THRIFTED! Savers, yo. AND it still had the original tags. Like, who's the person who bought this and never wore it?! Well whoever you are, I thank you. Because now it's all mine and I love it so.

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! Sorry this post is coming to you a little bit late in the morning, but I was in muscle relaxer-induced coma last night haha. I went to the doctor yesterday to get everything checked out because I was in a lot of pain after the accident, and he said I was having neck spasms, and that's why my headaches were so bad. So he prescribed me some muscle relaxers to take before bed, and holy crap. I kind of never want to take them again. So drowsy today! But I did sleep like a baby, so that's a bonus. Anyway, hope you guys have a great day!

Hiiii, friends! Happy Monday! For once, I am almost happy the weekend is over. Mine was so. freaking. crappy. Okay, shouldn't say all of it was crappy, but some crappy stuff happened. On Saturday morning, I was involved in a car accident, and that just completely threw everything off. We found out that the guy who hit me doesn't have insurance, so that's just a big mess. And my life was already a hot mess before all this! So. Ya know. Not my best moments. I broke down to my husband for a good little while, and then tried to get on with my day, but just felt weird all day. I kept getting spouts of vertigo, and just couldn't get my mind off the accident. I kept playing the scene over and over again (still keep doing it, can't stop!) in my head. I woke up yesterday just exhausted and with bruises all over my arms. BUT, I'm lucky and grateful that I'm okay! That's all that really matters, right? Hope you all have a great start to your week!

This. Dress. Though. I feel like everyone just needs a white flowy dress for summer. Amirite?? I'm sure this dress will be on repeat all summer long because it's just so versatile. These pants though, you guys. I feel like I'm wearing sweatpants AND they're work appropriate. Now I know you're thinking to yourself, is this real life? Why yes, my friends, it's real life. I've gotta be honest, I never buy pants because I hate shopping for pants (because, ya know, #selfconscious) so I feel like I never have cute pants to wear. These ones are absolutely perfect, because they're so versatile. Wear them to the office, dress them down to the beach, or just lounging around the house. They do stretch quite a bit, so I maybe would have gone down a size, but other than that, I'm frrrreaking obsessed over here. I can't wait to pair them with some sandals and a crop top in the summer! Hey guys! Happy Monday! How was everyone's weekend?! I had a really great weekend, and of course like always, it flew by. I was able to attend a bridal shower for a friend on Saturday, go to a comedy club that night with my family, and spent my Sunday up in the mountains on a beautiful hike with our friends! It was just what I needed after a stressful week! 

Anyway, the weather here has been a little crazy lately. Snow one day, 70 degrees the next day. Seriously crazy. Just when you think you can bring out your summer dresses..... Nope. So I paired a light summer skirt with a winter sweater. Haha. And it was perfect. So there's that. Hope you all have a great start to your week!

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a complete sucker for anything black and white--mainly black and white stripes. I have at least 20 black and white striped tops. Why?! I don't know! But the struggle is real, my friends. But this one, though. This one is special. Holy crap is it special. It's the perfect flowy top, and I love that it is not quite a crop top, but a shorter top, so it looks amaaaazing paired with some high-waisted pants. It's a combo that you can just throw on and be casual, and still look great. I found some more rrrrrrreally cute striped tops, so be sure to shop them below. I might be buying a few myself... Haha. Heyyyyy, you guys!!! It seems like forever since I've blogged. Because it has been. And I'm sorry. But let me just fill you in on what's been going on with my life: I've since colored my hair. Again. Purple-ish/red-ish now. I've gotten a new job (hip hip hooray! So excited!) with a title company. My hubby has gotten shoulder surgery and is now in recovery and doing awesome. My niece is getting married to her Marine boyfriend and we're all excited to have another wedding in the family! And well, so much more, because life is full of crazy, wonderful adventures. 

Honestly, for a while, I was really debating quitting this whole blogging thing. But I discovered I missed it way too much. Sometimes, this game can be depressing. Negative comments, trying to keep up with other bloggers, not feeling good enough, ya know. The list goes on! But there's so much good in it, too! So much. I've met my bestest friend ever, because we started reading each other's blogs a little over a year ago. Who knew?! Now I couldn't imagine her not being my friend, and it's all thanks to this lovely ol' blog thang. Plus, I've met so many other amazing women and people. It's been a fun, crazy ride, and I'm excited to re-vamp and come back at it with all my energy. So, here goes! Can't wait to reconnect with all y'all! Thank you for always being the best of friends and supporters. Major heart eyes for all of you.
