A Tiny Touch of Neon

4.26.2013

You guys. My husband is getting pretty good at this whole "taking pictures of me" thing. Maybe not pro photographer status, but getting there. We couldn't have gone out to take these at a better time of day, either. It was beautiful. The sun was starting to set, the birds were chirping, and even the trains behind me stopped for just a moment so we could quickly take a few shots. We only had about 10 minutes, but we managed to get some good ones. After that, we were off to dinner to celebrate my niece getting into town for my sister's graduation TODAY! It's such an exciting day for our family, especially my sweet sister, Stacy, who is graduating from Weber State University (SUMMA CUM LAUDE might I add, which basically means she's amazing) with her BA in PR and Advertising. We're so proud of her! We're for sure going to be celebrating it up ALL day today!

Hopefully you all have some fun plans for the weekend as well! All I know is that it's going to be amazing weather, so I'll be spending as much time outside as I can. Happy Friday!

  1. Yes! Your Hubby is getting good! Don't you love how into it they get after a while? :) haha. These are awesome photos though, love the location and the sunset. ANd your jewelry is so colorful and fun! Plus, you can never go wrong with belted chambray. Ever.

    1. Thanks Jessi! It's so true, when in doubt, go for a belted chambray. ;)

  2. You are just oozing cuteness in this outfit! I love the bit of neon with that darling watch. And the striped skirt is equal parts sporty and flirty. Way too adorable.

May the force be with you.
